The Department of Chemistry of Govt. Islamia Graduate College Kasur, affiliated with University of the Punjab, is committed to provide conceptual education along with practical aspects of the subject so that graduates may compete in the market. Fully functional state of the art labs, library and allied facilities of the department are also available to cater the needs of the student.

We have expertise in analytical, organic, inorganic, physical, applied, bio and theoretical chemistry which are quite attractive for talented students. The importance of subject in industry, medicine and agriculture is undeniable. While instructing students, these practical aspects are kept in mind. The department also conduct seminars and various co-curricular activities.
