It gives me a great pleasure to welcome you as an aspirant to be a student of Department of Biology. The main emphasis of this department is to prepare manpower for leadership positions in Govt. Organizations (Universities, Colleges, Schools, wildlife and fisheries, forestry and agriculture, pharmaceutical industries and Diagnostic laboratories, Entomologist to control epidemics).

Department will also take keen interest in academic and scientific activities and provide high quality and carrier oriented education in BS Hons. With specialization in Paleontology and Cell & Molecular Biology, Entomology, Entomology, Parasitology, Microbiology, Endocrinology, Developmental Biology, Biochemistry, Wildlife, Toxicology and Fisheries. I expect you to be regular in studies, hardworking and also be abide by the rules which is the basic requirement to seek knowledge and maintain healthy and clean atmosphere of the institution.
