The department of physics is one of the most prestigious departments at Govt. Islamia Graduate College Kasur, offering the courses of Physics at intermediate, graduation and post-graduation level. Our department has highly qualified Ph.D and M.Phil. staff with well established laboratories of Modern Physics and Electronics. We have produced a large number of young M.Sc. graduates who are now successfully serving in different organizations of the country.

The quality of education in the department is outstanding whether it is formal or informal. Our department is well equipped with modern and latest gadgets which are utilized for lecture delivering and laboratory work so that the best capabilities and talents of the students can be groomed and utilized for serving the nation. The Department of Physics has always put the tremendous efforts in improving the performance of students in examination which have most of the time given an outcome of above Board/University result.
